A loan insured by the Federal Housing Administration.
A loan backed by the Veterans Administration. Requires a low down payment and less stringent requirements for qualification. Members of the U.S. armed forces are eligible for loans under certain circumstances.
Usually refers to a 30yr. a fixed rate loan. Not insured by the Government.
Loans larger than those limits set by Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac.
A Jumbo loan will carry a slightly higher rate of interest.
Scott Hacker was born and raised in Kern County. He attended North High School and enlisted in the US Army shortly after graduation. He served 2 tours of duty overseas, including deployments to Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm. In addition to his Overseas Medal, Scott also was awarded the Liberation of Kuwait Medal, the South West Asia Service Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, and an Army Commendation Medal with 1st Oak Leaf Cluster.
After his Honorable Discharge, Scott enrolled in real estate classes and earned his Salespersons License from the California Department of Real Estate in August 1991. He spent a couple of years selling real estate until he found his calling in Lending and became a loan officer. He first became a Branch Manager for Golden Empire Mortgage in 1994 and excelled in all types of mortgage loans. His dedication to helping fellow Veterans has always been at the forefront and truly enjoys sharing his knowledge with them.
